Linx 12X64 Review: A Surface Pro Spec And Price Guide

This brand is saturating the market at a great range. The reason lies in the amazing price and truckload of features. If we talk about the display, it has a bundled stylus. However, people think that the screen is small. This laptop comes with the Celeron processor by Intel. For the display, the 720p configuration is used for a better watch experience and graphics. Whereas, if the build is to focus upon, it has a sturdy plastic finish which doesn’t look attractive.

But we are in the favor of the kickstand as its aluminium build. Plus, the adjustability is off the charts and you can make the laptop sit in your lap or on the work table. The kickstand is foldable so you can lay it straight when you want to. By digging inside, the keyboard attachment with the box is a good idea. It is connected to the tablet’s main body through the magnetic slip. The magnetic slip is the bottom of the tablet. The best part is that it doesn’t budge even if you put it on the solid surface.

Concerning the trackpad, it has a very accurate functionality as there are null tracking problems. On the left side of the laptop, there is a USB 3.0 port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a micro-HDMI output, a microSDHC/XC card reader. Also, there is a micro-USB port and that is for the charging purpose. At the top, there is a volume adjuster and a power button. At the bottoms of the tablet, there are two speakers and have a great sound.

The tablet has a front and back camera with 2-megapixel power. It might not be best to make videos but for the occasional video chats, it will work fine. There are 4.0 Bluetooth and 802.11ac Wi-Fi compatibility. The tablet has 12.5 inches of screen with HD graphical support. There is an IPS display which works pretty well. The contrast ratio is apt as well with the value of 1,148:1. Users will be able to get maximum brightness levels with this tablet. However, it isn’t apt for the daylight use with the maximum 290cd/m2 brightness level.

However, the colours don’t have the much-needed vibrancy. The colour space has a value of only 63.2% sRGB. The colour accuracy is only 19.3 as it could be better. But again, it’s perfect for the regular use. The tablet has a low-power 1.44GHz quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8350 processor. Also, there is 4GB of dated LPDDR3 SDRAM. If you are a vigorous browser, this tablet holds the sustainable power to ensure that. But if you add multiple tabs through Google Chrome, the power will go down. With the low power, the speed will be affected at a great level.

As far as the battery is concerned, this tablet has the maximum battery life of seven hours and ten minutes which isn’t great. The storage space is around 64 GB. The read speed is 132 MBs per second. On the other hand, the write speed is 77 MBs per second which is low according to us. So, this was about the famous Linx 12X64.
